When SHARE Scotland embarked upon the Investor In People award in 2001 our stated aim was:
"(we) do not strive to be the biggest care organisation operating in central Scotland, but to be the best. To achieve this we must provide the highest quality of support to those who use our services and also be recognised by those we employ as being equally concerned with the care we take of our workforce."
This statement still holds true today.. In the 9 years since attaining the Investor In People accreditation, the IIP framework has continued to inform the work that we do and actions that we take and SHARE have continued to hold the IIP accredication by showing a solid committment to our workforce. Our most recent report states that:
"It becomes very clear early on in your time spent with SHARE Scotland, that its people are highly valued and genuinely perceived as being fundamental to the reasons the organisation is such a special place."
