Volunteering

SHARE Scotland have worked in partnership with CSV almost since the beginning.  Our volunteers are a highly valued, important part of our team.

Our volunteers work for us for between 6 months and a year, and are fully trained to the same level as our Support Workers.  They have come to us from all corners of the world, as well as from the UK.

We firmly believe that in times of tight budgets services should not be sacrificed, so having volunteers to provide an extra pair of hands can make service users' support budgets go further.  This means that activities like swimming, that might take two support workers, are possible without service users having to miss out on something else.
