At SHARE Scotland, we support people with disabilities so they can live the life they want, because it’s the life they deserve. And we need your help. When you come to work with SHARE Scotland you will work in one of our many small teams of passionate people based in Central Scotland.
Share cares about staff and we’re continuously looking for ways to show our appreciation providing free life, critical illness and healthcare insurance. We are a Scottish Living Wage Employer and pay hourly rate for sleepovers. We provide fully funded SVQ training and offer 32 days annual leave rising to 42 over time. We also offer 4% employer pension contributions (above legal requirement) and access to Perkbox. We are members of the SCVO Credit Union, which helps staff save and we also offer small interest free loans to staff facing financial hardship.
Our staff have access to a cycle scheme where you can purchase a bike and pay it up directly from your salary before tax and national insurance reducing your taxable income and saving you money. We also offer £200 towards driving lessons for staff who look after a service user with a car *terms apply.
We believe that healthy staff are happy staff, our healthcare plan contributes towards dental, optical, practitioner inc. chiropractor, Specialist and Investigations including allergy testing, Birth/Adoption grants, Hospital payments and personal accident. We also have access to a virtual doctor for online appointments as well as counselling, debt and legal advice.
