Share Scotland believes that people with learning disabilities are entitled to equal status in society – with the same voice, opportunities and rights as others.
We can provide practical, emotional and physical support to people who need it, making sure that they have a full and rewarding life. We specialize in supporting people with complex learning and physical disabilities, however we also support anyone with a learning disability, physical disability, complex health need, autism, Aspergers, challenging behaviour and communication difficulties.
All of our services have been awarded the maximum 6 stars – a rating of ‘Excellent’ - for Quality of Care and Support by the Care Commission.

Funds Raised
In the last financial year SHARE and its supporters raised a total of £3786.30 from events that they took part in, including Bungee jumping; Half Marathon; Womens' 10K & a Zumbathon. SHARE would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part, everyone who organised events and everyone who donated to our charity. In order to improve and maintain the care for people with special needs the Government has published their final report for developments in 2013, the Winterbourne View hospital report created social out cry for much needed progress and improvements within the social care industry to make sure everyone is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Our artist in residence Karen, a young woman supported by Share Scotland, will be holding a Solo Art Exhibition of her mixed media artworks in Edinburgh's Engine Shed.
